How Hard Is It To Learn Japanese After Chinese

0

In the beginning, it doesn't help much. my chinese friends struggled with japanese as much as i did. in the long run, once you reach a certain proficiency level, then yes, knowing chinese gives you an advantage edge over other learners.. The japanese language does sometimes differentiate meaning using a high-low distinction (what linguists call “pitch accent”), but the good news is that you do not need to learn a specific tone for each and every syllable like you do in languages like chinese.. And this isn’t even that hard. yes, i did learn japanese before chinese (and spanish before japanese), but i don’t think it helped me much in the realm of either pronunciation or grammar (with a few small exceptions). i took this into account when i made the graphs..

Japanese can be a tough language to get into. not because it's a hard language to learn, necessarily, but because there are a bunch of mental barriers and misconceptions. japanese has a reputation for being hard to learn. i can kind of understand why – japanese can be scary to people. you have to. Today, i want to give you a very brief introduction to japanese. i was asked to do this in chinese from one of my chinese-speaking viewers, so i thought i would do it first in english just to see. Someone asked this question during the live stream break in between videos. which do you think is harder? chinese or japanese? learn japanese online: http://yesjapan.
